Two from Periyapatna drown in Hassan lake

Mysuru: Two persons from Periyapatna in the district are feared drowned at a lake in Arkalgud in Hassan on Wednesday.
Sudhakar ( 48) and Balu ( 43) from Sangarashetty Halli in Periyapatna had gone to Anagal lake near Keralapura in Arkalgud. A contractor who had taken the tender of the lake on a contract basis had taken them for fishing in the lake.
The two are suspected to have caught in the deep slush in the water. The search is on to retrieve the bodies. Konanur police are on the spot.
