Online workshop on “Innovative & Healthy Snacks” at CFTRI on September 21-22

Mysuru: Consumers’ preferences for snacks that deliver on health, convenience and taste have sparked recent innovation in several of the healthy snack segments.
According to a release from Dr Parigi Ramesh Kumar, Head, I&P Department “CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) is organizing a two-day webinar on “Innovative & Healthy Snacks” during September 21-22, under the CSIR Integrated Skill Initiative for the benefit of Startups/SMEs/Entrepreneurs/micro entrepreneurs working in the area of Food Processing.”
This webinar would focus on formulations, manufacturing, quality and other regulatory requirements with Indian snack food industry.
The selected topics would also cover various aspects for establishing sustainable business model towards functional and health promoting snacks in meeting the increasing demand along with changing life styles. In addition, it wil also provide an insight into the opportunities for MSMEs & startups with respect to Indian snack industry including Return of Investement (RoI), sensory & consumer acceptance studies, plant layout and certifications.
Target audience for this workshop are aspiring entrepreneurs who have completed their graduation or diploma in any subject.
Registration fee has been fixed at Rs. 885/- (including GST) and can be paid through SBI Collect.
