Nanjangud temple demolition row! Hindu Jagarana Vedike activists raise ‘Down Down BJP’ slogans

Mysuru: Tension prevailed for sometime, when Hindu Jagarana Vedike activists raised slogans against BJP in the city.
The Vedike had organised a protest at Kote Anjaneya Swamy Temple premises at Mysuru Palace North Gate and raised “Down Down BJP slogans.”
Pro-Hindu activists waving saffron flags raised slogans, much to the embarrassment of BJP MLA S A Ramadas and several other leaders gathered at the spot.
Slogans were also raised against district incharge Minister S T Somashekar.
The Vedike had organized a protest rally condemning the demolition of illegal religious structures by the district administration, especially Hucchugani Aadhishakti Mahadevamma temple in Nanjangud taluk recently, that has sparked an outrage across the state.
As the police denied permission for the rally, the Vedike decided to stage protest on Anjaneya Swamy temple premises.
