Mysuru: Following the CCTV footage that shows him stopping the ambulance carrying KSRTC driver-cum-conductor Jagadish from Nagamangala in Mandya district to a Hospital in Mysuru went viral on social media, Nagamangala former JDS MLA K Suresh Gowda lodged a complaint with DIGP (Southern Range) Dr M B Boralingaiah demanding action against those who leaked the footage.
Gowda has stated that the video footage are from the CCTV cameras installed at BGS Circle in Nagamangala Town police limits, which may have been leaked either by police inspector or other staff. A disciplinary action must be taken against those police personnel behind the leakage of footage.
Gowda has also alleged that the persons identified as Bindenahalli Kushal Gowda, Adarsh Gowda, Sampath Kumar, Rakesh and Raki from Nagamangala are tarnishing his image by making derogatory comments on the footage on social media.
KSRTC driver Jagadish of Nagamangala depot attempted to commit suicide by consuming pesticide on July 5. Jagadish had been admitted to BGS Hospital, B G Nagar in Nagamangala. When I returned to Nagamangala I learnt that he was being shifted to Manipal Hospital in Mysuru during midnight. I waited for the ambulance at BGS Circle and spoke to his (Jagadish) family members in the ambulance about his health condition and allowed the ambulance towards Mysuru. After he was admitted to Manipal Hospital, I also spoke to the doctors about his health condition,” former MLA Suresh Gowda has explained in the complaint.
