YSV Datta convenes meeting in Kadur, says it is for the self-respect of voters of Kadur constituency

Chikmagaluru: After being denied a ticket to contest Assembly election by the Congress, former Kadur MLA Y S V Datta has convened a meeting of his supporters on April 9 in Kadur at 11 am.
YSV Datta, a former JDS MLA from Kadur Assembly constituency, had migrated to Congress. He was expecting a ticket from the Congress party. However, the Congress has chosen K S Anand to contest Assembly elections from Kadur constituency.
In a release, YSV Datta or popularly known as ‘Dattanna’ has thanked the voters, whom he said, stood by him and contributed for his growth in politics. Seeking their support in the current political situation, Datta said the meeting has been organised for the self-respect of voters of Kadur constituency.
