You never visited Bandipur or Nagarahole as CM: MP Simha takes a jibe at Siddaramaiah for his comments on PM Modi

Mysuru: Taking a strong exception to Congress leader Siddaramaiah’s comment on non-sighting of tigers during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bandipur on Sunday, Kodagu-Mysuru BJP MP Pratap Simha said there was heavy security cover during the prime minister’s visit. Since IAF’s three helicopters landed at the same time in Bandipur, there is every possibility that the wildlife may have gone into the dense forest due to commotion. This was the reason for non-sighting of tigers during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bandipur safari, clarified MP Simha. “Does he (Opposition leader Siddaramaiah) not have a common sense,” asked MP Simha.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Monday, MP Simha lashed out at Congress leader Siddaramaiah. “PM Modi’s visit to Bandipur shows his concern for wildlife. You never cared to visit Bandipur or Nagarahole when you were a chief minister. You removed the claws of Lokayukta that were feared by the corrupt. Now, don’t try to teach the prime minister,” MP Simha chided.
On Opposition parties’ continued fight about Amul’s entry into Karnataka, the former journalist said despite the government clarifying on the merger issue of Amul and Nandini, the opposition parties are going ahead with the issue for political gains. “They unnecessarily made an issue out imposition of Hindi and now they are making an issue of Amul. Other than Nandini, there are other brands of dairy from Andrha Pradesh and Tamil Nadu are available in Karnataka. Who allowed them to market here,” asked MP Simha.
“Congress leader Siddaramaiah has no concern about dairy farmers or dairy animals but has his eyes set on the votes of beef eaters,” MP Simha said. It was former chief minister B S Yediyurappa who supported dairy farmers to boost increased supply of milk to KMF unions, he added.
