Yoga Day practice on Raja Marga

Mysuru: Hundreds of yoga enthusiasts on Sunday took part in the rehearsal for Yoga Day in the city. The yoga enthusiasts are preparing for the mass performance on International Yoga Day on June 21 and the target this time is to involve 1.5 lakh enthusiasts at Mysore Race Club ground.
A part of Albert Victor Road from Chamaraja Wadiyar Circle to Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Circle ( Hardinge Circle) was closed for regular traffic. The yoga rehearsal was conducted on the same stretch of road.
The enthusiasts including men and women in different age groups, from different schools and organisations, wearing saffron and white coloured t- shirts performed various asanas.
The practice is being conducted from the past two weeks.
The participating organisations included GSS Yoga Foundation, Yoga Sports Foundation, SPYSS and several others.
MLAs S A Ramdas and L Nagendra, G S Srihari of GSS Yoga Foundation were present.
