Mysuru: Krishnaraja MLA S A Ramdas wants to make his constituency a tenant free segment.
Ramdas who had conducted a survey of such families who lack their own roof, when he was a minister in the cabinet of then chief minister B S Yeddyurappa has still kept his dream alive.
On Saturday he chaired a meeting of Ashraya Committee, at the old council hall of Mysuru City Corporation. Ramdas being a chairman of the committee discussed along with the officials pros and cons related to the project as he is particular on alleviating the woes of the people who still live in rented houses.
MCC Commissioner Shilpa Nag, Deputy Commissioner Shivananda Murthy, acting Deputy Commissioner Mahesh, Revenue Officer Kumar Nayak, Ashraya division officers Suneel Babu, Manjunath and Jyoti attended the meeting.
