Will initiate action against Mekedatu Padayatra, reaffirms CM Basavaraj Bommai

Bengaluru: As KPCC President D K Shivakumar remains defiant, continuing his ‘Mekedatu Padayatra’ blatantly ignoring the Covid guidelines, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Monday said “FIR has been registered against the padayatra at a police station.”
Reiterating that nobody who violates the curbs related to Covid guidelines will be spared from action, chief minister said “that is the reason we have filed the FIR before initiating action.”
Bommai also claimed that “We are more concerned about his health.”
It may be mentioned that Shivakumar refused to undergo Covid test when the officials insisted on Sunday.
