Weaver woman with quirky tone, makes her voice heard in society

Mysuru: A woman from the city with her quirky tone who explained about Covid-19 in different waves, hogging limelight across the State has succeeded in making her voice heard in the society.
Shashirekha a weaver by traditional occupation is a resident of Janatha Nagar.
In the video that went viral, Shashirekha who though spoke about Covid, medicines used to treat the pandemic, diet to be followed and vaccination, had also highlighted the plight of the weavers community, who had been finding it difficult to eke out a living due to the prevailing situation.
Responding to her woes, Rajaram the city Congress vice- president and president of Sujeev Samsthe handed over ration kits to about 50 families of weavers at Janatha Nagar.
Rohit of Manjula Sounds, Suneel and others were present.
