Waste disposal! MCC team visits Nagpur plant

Mysuru: A team of officials and corporators led by Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath visited waste disposal plant of Zigma Environ Global Solutions in Nagpur in Maharashtra on December 31.
This follows the decision taken by district minister V Somanna in a recent meeting held at ZP recently.
The officials are expected to submit a report to arrive on a consensus to dispose the untreated waste pile at Excel Plant in Sewage Farm in Vidyaranyapuram.
Deputy Mayor Shafi Ahmed, MCC Finance Committee Chairperson Shobha Sunil, Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G Sankar, MCC Commissioner Gurudatta Hegde, Health Officers Dr M S Jayanth and Dr D G Nagaraj were present.
