Visitors to Bandipur notice injured elephant calf struggling to walk; alert authorities

Chamarajanagar: An injured elephant calf that was struggling to walk was spotted by some tourists travavelling on highway near Bandipur Tiger Reserve forest.
A video of the calf struggling to walk has been doing rounds on the social media. The calf has sustained injury on its left leg and is with two other elephants. It was found struggling to cross the road.
Taking note of the video, Bandipur Field Director Ramesh Kumar assured immediate action to nurse the calf.
