Two wild boars rescued; two ‘poachers’ arrested

Mysuru: Sleuths attached to police forest mobile squad have rescued two wild boars from the clutches of suspected poachers.
Two persons identified as Manjunath and Manju from Sadanahalli have been arrested. A pair of net has been seized from them.
They were apprehended along with the animals when they were transporting in a goods auto near the bus stop at Halli Diddi village in Nanjangud taluk. They had caught the animals in a forest.
The squad was led by probationary SI Ramesh, including H K Venkatachalaiah, H Narasimha Murthy, T R Raghu, Chaluvaraju, L Manjunath and driver Pradeep.
