Tiger passes through Sargur, triggers scare among villagers

Mysuru: Tension has gripped villagers in Sargur in H D Kote after the pug marks of a tiger has come to notice at an agricultural field in the village.
Ramappa a farmer who was keeping a night vigil at his tomato farm noticed an animal passing through the field, bursted a fire cracker to scare away the animal.
Initially he thought it was a deer. He later went to the spot and was shocked to find the pug marks of a tiger.
The villagers have demanded the forest department to set up a cage in the field to trap the animal.
