Three-day Ugadi Music Festival to begin at Palace today

Mysuru: Preparations have been all made for the three-day Ugadi Music Festival on the premises of Mysore Palace.
The District administration and Mysore Palace Board have jointly organised the music festival from today 6-30 PM onwards.
Yadhukumar and troupe will present a Saxophone concert, followed by rendition of folk songs by singer Ananya Bhat and troupe.
On Sunday April 3 Police band will perform from 6 PM to 7 PM, followed by Jugal Bandi of violinist Mysore Manjunath and flautist Praveen Godkindi.
On April 4 Veena recital by Sahana followed by Laya Vadya performance by H L Shivashankara Swamy is organised.
A grand stage has been designed in front of the Palace to host the music festival. After Dasara, Mysuru Palace is witnessing a grand music festival to mark Ugadi festival, especially for the music connoisseurs.
