Theatre director Prasanna new National President of IPTA, Tanveer Akhtar General Secretary
1 min readMysuru: Veteran theatre director Prasanna has been elected as National President of Indian People’s Theatre Association (IPTA).
According to H B Ramakrishna Deputy General Secretary of All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), Mysuru district, ‘After a gap of 80 years, a theatre person from Karnataka, Prasanna from Mysuru district, has been elevated to the new role. Tanveer Akhtar is the general secretary of IPTA.’
Both were elected during the national conference of IPTA held at Daltonganj, Jharkand. IPTA, Karnataka committee congratulates them, stated Ramakrishna.
