Sumalatha Ambareesh’s supporters want her to contest Assembly election

Mandya: Followers of MP Sumalath Ambareesh who held a meeting here on Tuesday unanimously demanded that the MP should come to State politics.
Majority of them were of the opinion that the actor-turned-politician should contest in the upcoming Assembly elections. They suggested her to contest from either Maddur or Mandya Assembly constituencies.
Followers from seven Assembly constituencies had gathered at Karnataka Sangha in Mandya and discussed her future political role. It is said that the members were equally divided in their opinion on her prospects of joining either Congress or BJP.
