SI’s house goes up in flames near Hassan

Hassan: A police sub-inspector’s house has been gutted in fire under mysterious circumstances at Konanur in Hassan, recently. The PSI Shobha Bharamakkanavar had gone on leave and returned on Wednesday only to find her house in flames. Strangely though, it is reported that miscreants broke into her house and set her house on fire with kerosene. While the reason for fire is yet to be ascertained, the official’s laptop and other valuables have been reduced to ashes in the fire, it is learnt.
She has informed her higher officials about the incident. Following her complaint, DySP Muralidhar, Circle Inspector Raghupathi, along with a dog squad and fingerprints experts, visited the house and are investigating into it.
