BJP has no future in State: Gali Janardhana Reddy

1 min read
Hassan: Gangavati MLA and now founder President of Kalyana Rajya Pragati Paksha (KRPP) Gali Janardhana Reddy on Thursday said the future of BJP appears bleak in the State.
Reddy who was once a prominent BJP leader and also served as a Minister in Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa’s Government came down heavily on his former party, during his visit to historic Channakeshava temple in Belur in the district.
Reddy said ‘a section of BJP leaders who neither have ethics nor principles issue sentimental statements in the name of Hindutva. There is a lot of difference between BJP that was and now. BJP was taught a befitting lesson by the people for ignoring seniors among the rank and file. There is no value for those who devoted their life for the party.’
Reddy also clarified that he founded Kalyana Rajya Pragati Paksha not to fight BJP, but to give a transparent and stable government as per the vision of12th century revolutionary Basavanna.
“I will tour the state to strengthen the party to field candidates for upcoming Lok Sabha elections,” said Reddy hinting at putting a formidable fight in the next election too.
Reddy also demanded that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah led Congress government should focus on giving freebies as promised to people, rather than blaming anybody for its failure to keep up its promises made to people.
