Senior journalist Vijesh Kamath passes away

Bengaluru: Vijesh Kamath a senior journalist passed away in the city on Thursday. He was 48.
A resident of Malleshwaram, the neighbours found him inside his house in a critical condition close to midnight hours on Wednesday and rushed him to M S Ramaiah Hospital. He breathed his last later. The body is kept at the hospital’s mortuary.
A bachelor, he was staying alone after his mother’s death recently.
He was working at Deccan Herald ( DH) in Bengaluru as a political correspondent till he quit the job only recently.
He had worked for close to two decades in DH and was widely known for his expertise in political coverage.
