Seer found dead in T Narsipur mutt! Mystery shrouds nature of death

Mysuru: A seer was found dead under mysterious circumstances at a mutt in T Narsipur taluk in the district on Saturday.
Mahadeva Swamiji, 56 years, the head of Benakanahalli Pattada Mutt in the same village is the deceased person.
However the mystery shrouds the nature of death, as a section of the villagers claimed that the seer was found dead in his sleep, mostly due to heart attack. While other expressed doubts of suicide.
Adding credence to this, a photo where Swamiji is found hanging to an iron rod has surfaced.
As the differences of opinion continued, T Narsipur police who rushed to the spot, shifted the body for postmortem.
A case has been registered.
