San City is distributing 10,000 kits of essential items to needy people

Mysuru: San City led by Dr Vishwa Cariappa B S is distributing 10,000 kits of essential items to the needy in Mysuru city, Periyapatna, Mandya, Bengaluru and other cities.
Following the lockdown declared in the fight against Coronavirus in the country, the have not community has been feeling the pinch to a larger extent. It includes daily wagers, labourers, destitutes and those who are finding it unable to step out of their houses.
For the past 12 days, Team Dr Vishwa Cariappa B S of San City is distributing ration and other essential items to meet the requirements of a family for one month. It includes rice, water, sugar, edible oil, mask and other daily needs. The similar items are also being distributed to police personnel and doctors.
Vishwa Cariappa said ” San City is responding to the grievances of the people whenever there were incidents of natural disasters in the state. The very intention of helping the needy is to ensure that the economically weaker families and labourers are not affected due to the lockdown. However, the decision taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to declare lockdown to check an evil like Coronavirus is a welcome step”.
