Ramp it up! Young Indians way to help persons with disabilities

Mysuru: Young Indians (YI) Mysuru observed International Day for Persons with Disabilities by launching a flagship initiative called “RAMP IT UP, Mysuru.
On Friday this initiative aims at making buildings in Mysuru access friendly for the persons with disabilities.
This was launched today at three frequently visited buildings by general public, namely – Camping round resort, Venjay Edifice commercial building and Rotary Mysore center.
Yi Mysuru hopes to adopt this initiative in the entire city of Mysuru and all 55 chapters across India and help equip buildings with infrastructure making them access friendly.
The launch was attended by Yi members Gagan Ranka, Sowmya S D, Yi National Accessibility Chair Ravishankar D, Yi Mysuru Chapter Chair Nikhil P Koundinya, Dr V Sheshadri (owner Venjay Edifice), Shiva Swaroop Urs (owner Campinground), Rotary Mysore team and Yi members family.
