Radar vehicles on Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway to check overspeeding and accidents

Ramanagara: Alarmed at increasing accidents and fatalities on the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway since its inauguration, the district police have now introduced radar vehicles to check overspeeding vehicles causing accidents.
The two radar vehicles will keep an eye on the overspeeding vehicles on the stretch from Kumbalgodu to Channapattana and fine violators.
The speed limit on the highway is fixed at 100/km ph. And those vehicles stretching the fixed speed limit will be booked and fined for overspeeding.
The radar vehicles are already on the road since Monday evening and they will keep a vigil on both sides of the highway.
