Prime Minister Narendra Modi to spend 45 minutes at Siddaganga Mutt

Tumakuru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is coming to the State on a two- day visit on January 2 will be spending 45 minutes at Siddaganga Mutt in the town.
The prime minister will be arriving at the mutt at 2 PM, where he will be paying his obeisance at the tomb of revered Siddaganga Mutt’s previous pontiff Dr Shivakumara Swamiji, who passed away on January last.
Barring Modi, Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and Siddalinga Swamiji the present pontiff of the mutt, nobody else will be allowed to the tomb at that time.
Modi who will be arriving in a special flight at Yelahanka air base in Bengaluru at about 1 pm, will be later flying towards Tumakuru in a chopper. The chopper will be landing at the helipad on the premises of Tumkur University.
Modi will be later driving towards the mutt by road.
