Newly married woman found dead at SBM Colony

Mysuru: A newly married woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her house in SBM Colony, Srirampura in the city on Saturday.
The body was found hanging from the ceiling, with the parents alleging murder.
Asharani S S of Sargur in Nanjangud taluk and Pradeep a software engineer had entered wedlock a month ago on April 4 at a choultry in Kuvempunagar in the city.
Asharani had told her parents about the harassment at the hands of her husband and in-laws a few days ago.
Asharani’s father Nagaraj Nayak alleged that ” husband Pradeep, mother-in-law Saroja and father-in-law Cheluvanayaka were harassing her for dowry.”
They had been given Rs five lakh cash and 130 grams of gold as dowry, according to a complaint lodged at Kuvempunagar Police station.
