Mysuru teen selected for UP wrestling meet

Mysuru: A youth from Mysuru is selected for the national-level wrestling tournament at Uttar Pradesh.
N Bharat from the city is selected through the selection trials conducted for Karnataka State Wrestling team, for the 2023 Under-17 Cadet Boys Free Style, Greco Roman Style and Girls National Wrestling Championship from April 16 to April 18, organised by U P Wrestling Association at Nandini Nagar, Ghond district in Uttar Pradesh.
A first PU student of K Puttaswamy College, Bharat has undergone training under L Manjappa retired coach of Sports Authority of India (SAI) and University of Mysore.
He is also trained by Dasara wrestler Shankar Chakravarthy.
