Mysore Warriors to scout talents for Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20-2023

Mysuru: Cycle Pure Agarbathi, India’s leading agarbathi manufacturer and proud owners of Mysore Warriors, with their vision to uncover hidden sports talent from remote areas of Karnataka have announced their Talent Hunt for the upcoming Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2023, scheduled to take place in Mysuru on July 29 at SDNR Wadiyar Stadium, Manasagangotri in the city.

The event aims to bring aspiring athletes from far-flung regions into the limelight, particularly in the field of cricket. All budding talents are cordially invited to participate in this exceptional opportunity, where they can showcase their skills and potentially secure a chance to compete in the esteemed Maharaja Trophy tournament this year.

The highly anticipated Talent Hunt is slated to kick off at 8 am, showcasing the finest players representing registered clubs under Karnataka  State Cricket Association (KSCA) between the age group of 17 to 35 years. The selection process promises to be challenging and rewarding. To ensure a smooth process, participants must come prepared with their KSCA statistics from the past two years and their well-equipped cricket kits. The necessary cricket balls will be provided to facilitate the proceedings seamlessly.

During the last talent hunt, Mysore Warriors splendidly conducted their cricket trials in both Mysuru and Bengaluru, receiving an overwhelming response.

Last year, SDNR Wadiyar Stadium in Mysuru witnessed an impressive gathering of 215 young cricketers vying for a coveted spot in the esteemed Mysore Warriors team. Among the talented individuals, there were 35 batsmen, 58 all rounder, 32 spinners, 85 fast bowlers and five Wicket Keepers. After careful evaluation, two exceptional players, Utham Aiyappa and Chethan L R, were handpicked to proudly represent Mysore Warriors in the prestigious KPL Tournament last year. Their selection stands as a testament to their remarkable skills and potential to shine on the cricketing stage.
