Get ready for electrifying finale of Yuva Kabaddi Series on July 19

Mysuru: The finale of summer edition of the Yuva Kabaddi Series will be held on July 19 at 7:30 pm, at Chamundi Vihar Indoor Stadium, Mysuru as two of the finest kabaddi teams vie for the best.

Royal scion Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamraja Wadiyar will be present at the finale.

This remarkable sporting extravaganza commenced on June 17 and has since seen 120 matches unfold across four exciting rounds. It has been a journey of 32 action-packed days, where more than 150 talented players in 9 teams from seven different states showcased their prowess on the kabaddi mat.

States that participated in the Yuva Kabaddi Series: Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Pondicherry, Rajasthan, Chhatisgarh, Jharkhand and Assam

Out of these extraordinary teams, the first finalist has emerged, and it is none other than the formidable “Palani Tuskers from Tamilnadu. Their exceptional performance throughout the series has earned them a well-deserved place in the Finals. The Yuva Kabaddi Series has not only been about showcasing talent but also about rewarding the outstanding efforts of these young athletes.

The tournament’s prize distribution has been generously planned to encourage and appreciate the hard work put in by the players. The prize money distribution is as follows: 1st place – Rs 20,00,000, 2nd place – Rs 10,00,000, 3rd Place – Rs 5,00,000, 4th place Rs 2,00,000, 5th place – Rs 1,00,000 and 6th place – Rs 50,000.

Apart from this, individual excellence will be recognised and rewarded. The “Best Raider” and “Best Defender” of the tournament will each receive a cash prize of Rs 50,000. Furthermore, there are five different category awards, with a cash prize of Rs 5,000 each, to acknowledge various outstanding performances during the series.

The total expenditure on the prize money, including match fees and match awards, amounts to an impressive Rs 55,00,000.
