MUDA clears encroachment at Devanur, takes land worth Rs three crore into possession

Mysuru: Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) has cleared encroachment of 27 guntas of land at Devanuru village in Kasaba hobli, Mysuru taluk. The land is worth Rs three crore.
According to a press release, MUDA has developed Devanur Layout third stage at Survey-168. However, Nagaraju had illegally fenced the 27 guntas of land.
Acting under the directions of MUDA Commissioner Dr D B Natesh, the encroachment was cleared and land taken into possession by MUDA.
Zonal Officer H P Shivanna and Assistant Engineer Rajashekar were present.
