May 29! Sumalatha’s victory March in Mandya

Bengaluru: Mark your calendar, as Mandya will be witnessing yet another political showdown on May 29. It’s actor Ambareesh’s 67th birth anniversary and his wife and newly elected MP Sumalatha Ambareesh has decided to take out a victory march on the same day.
Sumalatha told media ‘ It has been planned to organise a mammoth public meet and road show to thank the voters in Mandya. It is the victory of self-respect of the people of Mandya and also the love showered by them. They ignored allurements and catapulted me to victory’.
Negative publicity had reached its nadir and ultimately people surrendered to love, above other things.
She also did not forget to thank BJP State president B S Yeddyurappa for extending support by not fielding candidate.
‘I had requested Congress for the ticket, but they did not consider it seriously ‘, said Sumalatha.
