Manipur violence: SDPI workers stage candle light protest in Mysuru

Mysuru: Demanding restoration of peace at Manipur that is witnessing clashes for the past two months, Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) workers staged a candle light protest at St Philomena’s Church circle on Ashoka road in the city on Thursday.
The candle light protest was organised against the unrelenting attack on Christian community in Manipur, targeting their houses and churches.
State President of SDPI Abdul Majeed also addressed the party workers during the protest.
The party workers irrespective of men and women, holding candles and party flags took part in the protest.
