Mangala Vidya Mandira, Bengaluru wins State-level school band championship

Mysuru: Mangala Vidya Mandira, Yelahanka, Bengaluru bagged first prize in the State-level school band competition conducted at Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala, Paramahamsa Road, Yadavagiri in the city on Friday. This championship was organised by Kreeda Bharati, Karnataka.
The other prize winners are as follows-Anugraha Vidya Mandir, Hallimaisuru (Second), Sharath Memorial School, Ramanagara (Third), Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra, Vijayanagar, Mysuru (Fourth), Sevabharathi School, Chamarajanagar (Fifth), Shri Rama Vidya Kendra, Kalladka, Dakshina Kannada District (Sixth place), Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra, Banashankari, Bengaluru (seventh position), Vivekananda Kannada Medium School, Thenkila Dakshina Kannada (eighth position), Maharshi Public School, Mysuru (ninth position) and Sri Mangala Vidya Mandir, Kanakapura won tenth position.
