Man arrested for bid to smuggle deer horns on Mysuru- Hyderabad flight

Mysuru: Vidyarayapuram police have arrested a man who made a bid to smuggle deer horns through a flight from Mysuru Airport at Mandakalli on Mysuru- Nanjangud road.
Karthik Reddy, aged 38 years a native of Chengalpet, Kanchipuram district is the arrested person. He is a native of Tamil Nadu.
According to available information, Reddy was trying to smuggle the horns wrapped in a paper and kept in his bag in Mysuru- Hyderabad Indigo flight that takes off from Mysuru at 8 PM on March 06.
He is presently in police custody and details are awaited.
