Karnataka elections: Siddaramaiah and Somanna’s followers almost exchange blows in Bhugatagalli

Mysuru: Election pitch in Varuna Assembly constituency is getting higher by the day. On Sunday, supporters of BJP candidate V Somanna and Congress candidate Siddaramaiah almost came to blows at Bhugatagalli during their leaders’ campaign.
At Bhugatagalli, followers of Siddaramaiah posed questions to V Somanna. They made it difficult for his vehicle to move and demanded that he answer them. Even Somanna’s followers countered them with arguments leading to heated discussions between the two groups.
Somanna’s efforts to talk to them went in vain as the supporters continued their sloganeering forcing the police to intervene and disperse them.
Varuna constituency has turned out to be the high voltage constituency in the State.
