Mysuru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai mocked Congress candidate Siddaramaiah for campaigning back-to-back in Varuna constituency.
Arriving here in Mysuru to campaign for party candidate V Somanna in Varuna, CM Bommai said that Siddaramaiah had stated that he would only file nomination and had asked the people to campaign on his behalf. But, now, Siddaramaiah is busy campaigning in Varuna and has got Sandalwood stars to campaign for him.
He further said that the BJP has better prospects in Varuna as members of all community are supporting the BJP. He further said that the party will win with simple majority and will form the government.
Commenting on Congress’ promise to develop Hanuman temples – after facing flak for ban on Bajrang Dal – CM Bommai said this clearly shows they are now worried about their results.
