Kantharaj takes additional charge as MCC commissioner

Mysuru: KAS officer P S Kantharaj on Thursday took charge as the commissioner of Mysuru City Corporation ( MCC).
Kantharaj who is the present commissioner of Mysuru Urban Development ( MUDA) will be holding the additional charge of MCC.
This is in the wake of previous commissioner and IAS officer Shilpa Nag going on a year long leave from July 26.
Kantharaj was greeted by MCC Deputy Commissioner ( Administration) M K Bhaskar, after the former assumed the charge.
As is the formality, Kantharaj later chaired a meeting of officials and directed them to expedite the pending works.
