JDS leader H D Kumaraswamy meets BJP president JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah

Bengaluru: Ahead of Lok Sabha elections, JDS leader and former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy finally met BJP president JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah to seal their alliance with the BJP in New Delhi on Friday.
BJP National president JP Nadda wrote on X “Met former Chief Minister of Karnataka and JDS leader Shri H D Kumaraswamy in the presence of our senior leader and Home Minister Shri Amith Shah Ji. I am happy that JDS has decided to be the part of National Democratic Alliance. We wholeheartedly welcome them in the NDA…”.
Kumaraswamy’s son Nikhil Kumaraswamy and Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant were present.
Both the parties are expected to make a formal announcement of their alliance and also seat sharing pact for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
