Jaggery making unit gutted; accidental fire or miscreants act?

Chamarajanagar: A jaggery making unit is gutted due to fire at Changachahalli in Yalandur taluk in the district on Saturday night.
According to K Ravindra who had set up the unit, he has incurred losses estimated at Rs 3.2 lakh.
He has lost jaggery and articles used to make the sugary blocks and a diesel engine in the incident.
Tahsildar Varsha Wodeyar Hosahalli, who visited the spot promised measures to award compensation.
Revenue Inspector Bisalaiah, village accountant Siddalinga Swamy and Mahadeva Swamy visited the spot.
Yalandur police have registered a case.
