It’s party time! Bar & restaurants, pubs to resume usual services from September 01

Mysuru: It’s time for party for booze lovers, who can drink the drinks of their choice at dim lit liquor outlets.
State Government has issued permission for all types of excise licence holders to resume business as usual from September 01. The previous order of selling liquor for take away at MRP rate has been withdrawn.
But keeping in mind the prevalence of Covid-19, the bar and restaurants and other outlets where food is served along with drink should abide by restrictions of opening only 50 per cent of the seating capacity.
Hotel Owners Association President C Narayan Gowda also the president of The Cosmopolitan Club has shared a copy of notification issued from the office of excise Commissioner, where it is stated that “any violation of rules will be strictly dealt under section 29 of Karnataka Excise Act 1965”.
