Hunsur road to KD road to be developed at Rs 30 lakh

Mysuru: Kalidasa road is not just a road, but the favourite go to spot for youngsters.
The road with a mix of traditional and western, attracts locals as well as foreigners alike, from hotels to coffee shops, cafes to tony restaurants and other businesses turning out to be one of the most prominent commercial hubs of the city.
To improve the infrastructure, Chamaraja MLA L Nagendra and Ward 19 Corporator Bhagya Madesh performed bhumi puja for developing the road from Hunsur road near Premier Studio to Kalidasa road popularly known as KD road coming under Ward- 19 of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC).
The works are taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 30 lakh under MLA fund, SFC grants and 14th Finance Commission.
BJP Chamaraja Assembly constituency president Somashekar Raju, Vice- president Kumar Gowda, General Secretary Ramesh, Chikka Venkat, Chandrakala, Mahesh, Harish, MCC Assistant Commissioner (Zone-4) Priyadarshini, Development Officer Yoganand, engineer Gurusiddaiah and Contractor S M Indresh were present.
