Heavy rain wreaks havoc in Brindavan Gardens near KRS dam

Mandya: Sudden showers coupled with gusty wind have wreaked havoc around Brindavan Gardens near KRS dam on Monday. As a result, the Gardens will be closed for tourists on Monday evening.
Several huge trees surrounding the Gardens have been uprooted blocking the way. Luckily no casualty has been reported.
One could see the extent of damage in front of Brindavan Gardens as several shops that line up the front of the Gardens were damaged. Efforts are being made to clear heavy trees that have fallen due to wind.
