Bengaluru: Heavy rain lashed Bengaluru, severely inconveniencing the people on Monday.
Most of the roads were waterlogged causing slow movement of traffic, especially on Mysuru- Bengaluru road. Starting from Kumbalgodu the vehicles were seen moving bumper to bumper.
Those who were returning home from colleges and office had to face a tough time, with deluge on roads. The vehicles were seen wading through splashing water, that had occupied low lying areas in the road edges, inconveniencing the pedestrians.
With the BMTC buses moving at a slow pace due to rain, many commuters opted for metro. As a result Metro witnessed a good rider density unlike other week days.
