Gubbi Thotadappa Hostel inmates receive shiva deeksha

Mysuru: Thirty five hostel inmates of Dharma Pravarthaka Gubbi Thotadappa Free Sudents Hostel in the city received Shiva Deeksha on August 29.
The deeksha was given on the occassion of 104th birth anniversary of previous pontiff of Suttur mutt Sri Shivaratri Rajendra Swamiji.
Suttur Seer Sri Shivaratri Deshikendra Swamiji graced the occassion.
The hostel at Sardar Vallababai Patel Nagar is being managed by Sri Shivaratri Rajendra Seva Trust.
The deeksha was given on the premises of Rajendra Swamiji’s Gadduge at Suttur Sri Kshetra in Nanjangud taluk.
The students were given vastra, karadige and books.
Trustees of the hostel Duggahatti V Mallikarjuna Swamy, Akshay Mallappa, JSS Mahavidyapeeth’s secretaries S P Manjunath and S Shivakumar Swamy and Duggahatti Veerabhadrappa and warden K B Ananda Murthy were present.
