Graduation ceremony at MITM: Adapt to corporate world, acquire skillsets, says former Infosys executive
1 min readMysuru: The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Maharaja Institute of Technology Mysore, conducted the Graduation Day for its students graduated during the Academic Year 2021-22.
The covid hit batch which had curtailed class room interaction during the course of 4 years, have now come out with flying colours as 92 % of the students have graduated and all eligible students being placed in campus interviews.
After inaugurating the Graduation Day, Nagarajan S, Entrepreneur & Former Head, Infosys Mysuru Development Centre, in his address to fresh graduates stressed on the importance of adapting to the corporate world and the need to focusing on gaining skillsets continuously.
He opined that starting afresh after graduation is one of the necessities apart from being like a sponge to absorb as much knowledge and experience as possible out of the jobs that they choose to do.
Dr S Murali, Chairman, MET, Dr T Vasudev, Secretary, MET and Dr Naresh Kumar B G, Principal, MITM, Aniruddha A M, Administrative Officer, Dr Ravichandra, Head of ECE and other staff were present during the ceremony.
