Free vaccination drive at ATMECE! 260 students, 65 staff inoculated

Mysuru: A free vaccination drive against Covid-19 for students and staff members of the college was organised at ATME College of Engineering, Mysuru in association with Primary Health Centre (PHC), Mellahalli on Wednesday.

A total of 260 numbers of students and 65 numbers of staff members were vaccinated during the drive.

The vaccination drive was inaugurated by Shivashankar K, Secretary, ATMECE. Dr Basavaraj L Principal, ATMECE, Dr Anilkumar PHC, Mellahalli, Dr Asha, THO, Mysuru, deans, HoDs of various departments were present during the occasion.

After inaugurating the free vaccination drive Shivashankar K, thanked the district
administration and health department for honouring the request to conduct free vaccination drive at ATMECE and advised all the students and staff members to make use of the opportunity.

Dr Basavaraj L Principal, mentioned that it has been made compulsory for all the students and staff members to get vaccinated in order to attend the offline classes which are going to commence shortly.

The ATME-Covid-19 response team in association with NSS unit, ATME coordinated the whole event and the drive was conducted as per the SOP given by the Health Department.

A prior information was given to all the students and staff members well in advance to make use of this opportunity.
