‘Free Kashmir’ placard girl attends police inquiry

Mysuru: ‘Free Kashmir’ placard holder Nalini Balakumar visited Jayalakshmipuram police station in the city on January 11.
Nalini had been summoned by the police who have filed a suo motu case in this regard.
Nalini an alumnus of University of Mysore had been granted interim bail by the district court on January 10.
Nalini Balakumar along with her father came to the police station and was explaining about her act, which according to her is unintentional.
Nalini had taken part in a torchlight rally organised at Manasagangotri the PG campus of the varsity on January 8. The rally was taken out in protest against the violence at JNU campus in New Delhi. The police have already filed a FIR against the organiser of the rally.
