SFI State Committee member Vasanth told Mysoorunews.com we don’t have any connection with Nalini who displayed the placard. We had just called for a protest against the violence on the campus of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).

Similarly Manoj attached to University of Mysore Research Scholars Association also

Before attending the police inquiry Nalini posted a video message where she has succinctly clarified that ” I displayed Free Kashmir placard, to demand for the revocation of ban on internet connection in the valley. It is a fundamental right curtailed since five months. India is a biggest democratic country and everyone should enjoy freedom of expression and I just stand with this. I leant about the protest through social media and participated  in it. I just apologise for developments”.

I don’t belong to any organisation and participated in the protest rally as a citizen of India, she mentioned.
