Former CM S M Krishna arrives to grand welcome in Mysuru, performing artistes add festive spirit

Mysuru: Former chief minister S M Krishna arrived to a grand welcome at the Outer-Ring Road junction near Columbia Asia Hospital, on Mysuru- Bengaluru road on Wednesday.
Krishna is scheduled to inaugurate Navaratri festivities at Chamundi Hill on Thursday.

It was a traditional welcome for the veteran politician with a flower bouquet and Mysuru Peta. The district administration also gave books to Krishna as welcome gift.

Artistes of various folk troupes like Kamsale, Garudi Kunita, Dollu Kunita and Veeragase performed creating a festive spirit upon the arrival of the chief guest.

Krishna later drove straight to Hotel Radisson Blu, on M G road, where he is accommodated as the chief guest, with district administration playing a host.
Cooperation and District Minister S T Somashekar, Urban Development Minister Bhairati Basavaraj, MLC A H Vishwanath, MLAs GT Devegowda, L Nagendra and others were present.
