Forensic Odontology Centre makes start at Yenepoya Dental College, Mangaluru

Mangaluru: Forensic Odontology Centre has been opened in Yenepoya Dental College.
Dr Ashith B Acharya, Professor & Head, Department of Forensic Odontology, SDMCDS, Dharwad, inaugurated the centre.
Dr Sudeendra Prabhu, Incharge Head, welcomed the guests.
Dr Akhter Husain, Dean YDC, highlighted the importance of training dentists in the field of Forensic Odontology.
Dr B H Sripathi Rao, Pro- Vice Chancellor – highlighted the importance of such centre, which helps the local law enforcing agencies in forensic identification.
Dr Gangadhar Somayaji, registrar, released the Logo of the New centre.
Dr Syed Miqdad delivered vote of thanks and Dr Umme Amarah, conducted the proceedings of the event.
